i-table!® PBI provides you
with plenty of flexibility as to how you control the access to the
kiosk:
Access to the kiosk can be either free or controlled using
Access Codes. Access codes can be generated by the kiosk owner
(using the MaintainAC program) and then sold as a card.
Access Codes can be stored on magnetic cards. When the user
swipes the card, the balance is automatically retrieved from the
database server. We can encode cards for you for as little as
$0.25 USD each, including the cards. Click the following if you
would like to use our special, secure order form to
order these.
The kiosk also generates Access Codes when credit card
payments or cash payments are made. This allows the user the
option to use only a portion of the time remaining, keeping the
rest for future use.
Using the MaintainAC utility, kiosk managers can generate
Access Codes that will be reset to a specified balance everyday.
This can be used for monthly or yearly subscriptions.
Access Codes issued by the kiosk owner can also be recharged
using credit card payments or cash payments at any of your kiosk.
For example, you could generate Access Codes with 15 free minutes,
then the user could add to this 30 minutes by making a payment at
the kiosk.
Since Access Codes are stored on a central database, the same
Access Code can be used at any of your kiosks (but at only one at
a time).
You may also choose not to use Access Codes. In that case
unused balance can not be used at a future date.
